Introducing SAMO Fund’s New Executive Director, Deanna Armbruster

Deanna Armbruster has been appointed as the new Executive Director of the Santa Monica Mountains Fund. She has been the Fund's Chief Operating Officer for the last two years. Prior to joining the Fund, Deanna has held leadership positions in several California non-profits supporting wildlife and international relations. 

"I am delighted to accept a new role as Executive Director at Santa Monica Mountains Fund. It has been a pleasure to work with Charlotte Parry and an outstanding Board of Directors these last few years. I can't wait to get started guiding SAMO Fund into the next era of growth and achievement with the support of the local community. We will continue to support the National Park Service through educational and cultural programs, preservation and restoration of our beautiful Park and, of course, wildlife conservation. SAMO Fund also is working harder than ever to promote diversity through our employment programs training the next generation of leaders," said Deanna.

Deanna will take over July 2nd from Charlotte Parry, who is moving back to be with family in the UK. Charlotte says, "So many of you here are committed to preserving the Santa Monica Mountains - its wildlife, landscape and biodiversity - for future generations. It's been an immense privilege to have joined you on this journey of conservation for the last few years. I'm looking forward to seeing the Fund go from strength to strength with Deanna at the helm!"
