Jane Seymor returns to Paramount Ranch for a day of restoration and Reminiscing
SAMO Fund was delighted to welcome Jane Seymour, Patron of the Paramount Project, Joe Lando, Katie Flynn, the Open Hearts Foundation and Young Hearts to Paramount Ranch on Saturday to help with a day of eco-restoration. Along with 80 volunteers from the area, they worked hard to put 2,000 native plants into the ground.
This initiative is part of a season-long drive to plant many thousands of native grasses, trees and shrubs, thereby helping to build ecological resiliency at the site and reduce wildfire impact. This also improves the habitat for the wildlife that call this place home, and helps beautify the landscape for generations to come.
Jane and Joe also chatted about their memories of filming Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman at the Ranch, while Jane’s daughter, Katie, reminisced of her time at the Ranch doing her homework on the set of this beloved show.
